The Teen Volunteer Camp takes place in Playa Tamarindo, located on the Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Tamarindo is a world-famous tropical beach destination with nearly two miles of warm white sand and bright blue water.
The Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica is a dry forest area. This means that it gets the least rain and mostly sunny days, even during the green season. On the weekends we will visit the natural wonders of the region such as volcanos, waterfalls, rivers and beaches. We will raft, zip line, horseback ride, kayak and hike along with other adventure activities.
There are many ways to volunteer in Costa Rica and giving back to help protect the beauty of the natural environment is a top priority. This is why we have all our teen camp students participate in a beach clean-up each Friday.
Note: All main afternoon activities (Volunteer, Surf, Adventure, or Intensive Spanish), evening activities and weekend tours can be added for the additional price of the specific activity.
Start dates: Teen programs will start every Sunday from
4 half-days of volunteering per week
