Before entering the river, your guides will give you an important safety talk, familiarizing rafters with the necessary commands and safety instructions that you will need on the river. Halfway through the first day you will reach our campsite which is located on a hillside in a bend of the river so you would then have a tremendous view of the Pacuare and the surrounding mountains.
You can spend the afternoon relaxing around the campsite or exploring the rainforest. In the evening the guides prepare and serve a delicious dinner that is all by candlelight. When you are ready for bed, you will comfortably sleep in t which are spacious jungle tents camps, raised on wooden platforms with two beds each and a unique view of the Pacuare River – without a doubt a very special experience.

In the morning you will wake up to the singing of a variety of birds around the campsite. After breakfast, you will hike with our local indigenous guide, taking you to the indigenous reserve of Nairi Aguari. Here you can visit the local school, meet his family who will welcome you into their homes as they are happy to meet new people. They also have a specific trade which is wood carving so you can look at the amazing work that they do and if you are interested, you have the opportunity to purchase wooden masks from them.

During the evening, you can rest and relax with the panoramic view of the Pacuare River.
After dinner, you will sleep well after a full adventure day. After breakfast, we continue rafting down the river enjoying what the second half of the river has to offer – which is much more exciting rapids and forest.

We customize the ideal itinerary for you.
